But Wait Theres More, Capacity, Part 1

FOUNDATION SCRIPTURES: John 10:10“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” 

1. ) Note: The heavenly realm is voice activated and responds to the faith of the verbal believer! Call things that are not as though they are! Faith is not faith until a demand is placed upon it. Call it positive reinforcement if you want.

Romans 8:32 (AMP) “He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?”
TPT“ For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as a sacrifice for us all, he certainly will not withhold from us anything else he has to give.” 

Note: Jesus pursues you and embraces you into his kingdom. HE loves you beyond your understanding of the word. He loves you so much If he had to do it all over again, he would.

Deuteronomy 9:1-3 “Hear, O Israel (IMPACT): You are to cross over the Jordan today, and go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fortified up to heaven, 2 a people great and tall, the descendants of the Anakim, ( 14ft tall) whom you know, and of whom you heard it said, ‘Who can stand before the descendants of Anak?’ 3 Therefore understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you.

2.) Note: There is a spiritual enemy and God put you in the world to work with you. We are called to do something powerful and significant. We just need to expand our mental and spiritual capacity to believe that God will go before us. We are here to partner with God in his eternal purposes for this region. We are not here to pacify but to occupy. For a while we were holding the fort but now, we are collectively assembling a fighting fortress of the faithful to engage in prayer, leave the known for the unknown and present a living Jesus to a dying world.

The question is,“DO we have the capacity to handle it? You have a noble puro0se and a noble call. You are ruling and reigning over the affairs of life. I am what He says I am! I manifest the love of God in every facet of life. Put yourself in your destiny right now! I dig deeply into the wells of Gods word everyday and my whole life is completely order around who God says I am.

We can do all things not some things through Christ that makes me strong.

2 Kings 4:1-7 “A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.” 2 So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” 3 Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. 4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” 5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. 6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.” 

Note: No longer are we gonna stand by and let the enemy waltz in here and breed fear, worry and unbelief! Not on my watch! We are not slaves to dooms day prophesies. I do not live a fear-based faith!

If I lived a fear-based faith I certainly would not be in here! I would make sure I used my borrowed time wisely.

You have the anointing! You are a living walking manifestation of heaven on earth! You are a legal representative of the domain of heaven! I will not be distracted by the lack of capacity others have.

There are plenty of empty vessels in town that Impact Church is going to fill.

Ephesians 3:20 (AMP) “Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—” 

TPT “Never doubt Gods mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.”

Note: Don’t limit Gods ability to bless you by putting limitations of your capacity. How big can you dream? What are your passions? What is your vision? 

Isaiah 54:2-3 “Enlarge the place of your tent and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited.”

Luke 6:38“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

 2 Corinthians 8: 1-6 Encouragement to Give Generously

8 We want you to know, brothers,^[a] about the grace of God that has been given among the churches of Macedonia, ² for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part. ³ For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord, ⁴ begging us earnestly for the favor^[b]of taking part in the relief of the saints— ⁵ and this, not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then by the will of God to us. ⁶ Accordingly, we urged Titus that as he had started, so he should complete among you this act of grace.

SEASON- Severe Test plus THE FACTS-extreme poverty plus SPIRITUAL DISPOSITION = OUTCOME-wealth of generosity

We need to make our spiritual disposition line up with the Word of God.

Your current condition is insignificant compared to your spiritual disposition.

In a bad season, God can take what you don’t have (extreme poverty), and what you do have, (JOY) and multiply it until it overflows into what others need, (wealth of generosity)

God wants to bless you to be a blessing in every season!

VS 3. “They gave beyond their means.”  How do you go from broke to blessed to beyond?

VS 4. “begging us earnestly for the favour of taking part in the relief of the saints”

Vs 5 “ And this, not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord by the will of God to us.” 

My challenge has always been to question my capacity. What is it? IF I never challenge it how will I know what it is? I have never been content with my capacity because I know that I’m capable of more.

What is it that Im believing God for in relation to Impact Church? What am I believing God for you? Is it to get by or to be an overcomer? Is it to settle for minimum or maximum?

How will I ever know what I’m capable of if I never get beyond what I’m comfortable with.

What have you convinced yourself that you can do.. that you really won’t do? Maybe its not your capacity but your condition.

Your current condition is prepping you for your calling. But as long as you are content with your capacity you will never know what your capable of.

Grunt work-welcome to ministry

1. NO CHALLENGE-NO CHANGE There is something in you that you have convinced yourself that is beyond you.

capacity:— the maximum amount that something can contain.  the ability or power to do, experience, or understand something.

IF you are not willing to change your not willing to accept the challenge! Its imperative that you challenge your capacity!

Your current limit is your chosen limit.   What is in your life that you have convinced yourself is your limit? Whatever that is, is your chosen limit.

You need to master the mundane and stop worrying about what the process looks like while your becoming or developing.

**Some have come to church already setting limitations on what part of this message you will receive.**

Some are not hear anymore because they could not get beyond their self-imposed limitations and were content with their capacity.

Some can’t comprehend what they don’t understand so they count it as loss.

See what Paul was witnessing in the Macedonian Church. That church didn’t have much but through there joy they gave out of need.

Vs3 IT all started with them giving what they could but ended up giving what they could not.

“If you release from your hand what you can see, God will release from his what you can’t see”

God worked a miracle from that church because they knew who their supply was. They gave trusting the father of abundance to replenish.

“We put way too much trust in what we see. That is not confident Christianity that’s conditional Christianity.” 

What is confining you?

2. YOU COULD IF YOU WOULD: Ephesians 11:4 “Farmers who want for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they will never harvest.”

They could plant but they don’t because they are to busy watching other things!

3.) Get comfortable being uncomfortable:

If your going to challenge your capacity, there will always be discomfort with challenging your capacity.  

Genesis 15:5-6“Then He brought him outside and said, ‘Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.’ And He said to him, ‘So shall your descendants be.’ And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.”

Genesis 15:12“Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram;…”
He said look at the stars when the sun was in the sky!!!  LOOK AT THE STARS!!!   What do you see!!!

Joshua 6:2“And the Lord said to Joshua: ‘See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.’”     God wants to enlarge his capacity!
