Cessationism is the view that the “miracle gifts” of tongues and healing have ceased—that the end of the apostolic age brought about a cessation of the miracles associated with that age. Most cessationists believe that, while God can and still does perform miracles today, the Holy Spirit no longer uses individuals to perform miraculous signs.
Continuationism is the belief that all the spiritual gifts, including healings, tongues, and miracles, are still in operation today, just as they were in the days of the early church. A continuationist believes that the spiritual gifts have “continued” …
…unabated since the Day of Pentecost and that the demonstration of “signs, wonders, and miracles”, as witnessed in the apostolic era, should be a hallmark of today’s church as well.
There are churches that actually embrace this teaching of CESSATIONISM. Where they may excel in other areas, they proudly promote this. It’s a manmade filtered doctrine to justify the lack of results. In the end, it doesn’t mean they are not believers, they just miss out on the fun stuff. ALL I KNOW IS I WAS BLIND BUT NOW I SEE!!
When you have a church operating without authorization, without the hallmark, they are handicapped. THERES SO MUCH MORE!! It’s like putting a rowboat engine on a cruise liner. It will eventually get there, but the Holy Spirit is like a nuclear power plant!!
How do you have access to the Father? Charasmatic gymnastics? NO! You have access by what Jesus did on the cross. You try any other way you’re trying to get over a wall and not through a door. You are always need to Him, close to him, right by him. You don’t have to work your way to him because HEB 13:5 says, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” YOU HAVE NEVER LIVED AN UNLOVED MOMENT!
The church (you) is the vehicle where the Holy Spirit reveals the supernatural to the natural. It is where the unseen (invisible) comes in the seen (visable) so when you jump on the scene something supernatural is seen!

TITLE: ANGELIC PARTNERSHIP
A question was raised last week, How do we know when it’s the Holy Spirit or an angel helping us?
Glen gave a great answer: Angels are on the outside, Holy Spirit is on the inside.
Holy Spirit gives discernment, and direction. When you declare the Word, angels are dispatched
Before we dive into Angelic Partnership and why, I want to describe to you their purpose:
Angels Minister encouragement
Mark 1:13 “And Jesus stayed in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan; and he was with the wild beasts, and the angels ministered to Him (Continually).
Luke 22:43 “And there appeared to Him an angel from Heaven, strengthening Him in spirit.”
1Kings 19: 5-8 “angel woke him with food to travel 40 days and 40 nights to Mount Horeb”
Angels Minister to Release Wealth
Mark 6:37-41– Loaves & Fishes
Mathew 17:27- Coin in mouth of Fish

Angels are Messengers that minister Revelation

In other words revelation was revealed
Ministers of Breakthrough
Acts 5:19 “During the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors…
Acts 12:7 :and suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared (standing beside him) and the angel smote Peter saying, Get up quickly and the chains fell off his hands
Rev. 8:5– Acts 16:25-28- Paul & Silas praying in jail {violent earthquake} Paul & Silas release.
Later on we will discover how they are also messengers of strength.
Psalm 104:4 “He maketh winds his messengers angels flames of fire his servants.”
Psalm 68:17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.
The Hebrew Word for Chariot is “Rekeb” pernounced reckev. It means a team, warriors, riders, troop of riders, horsemen, pair of horsemen, men riding.
Angels appear in many forms such light, fire, and breath
- 2 Kings 2:11 ““Suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses and separated the two of them and Elijiah went up in a whirlwind”
Fire in Hebrew is “esh” which means Supernatural flames!!
He was not taken to heaven in a physical fiery chariot! He was taken in a whirlwind! The chariot and the horse of fire were manifestations of God’s divine presence or a manifestation of the angelic forces who ushered him into glory!!!
A chariot of fire – In this form the angels appeared. The souls of all the faithful, are carried by an invisible guard of angels, into the bosom of Abraham. But Elijah being to carry his body with him, this heavenly guard appeared visibly: Not in an human shape, tho’ so they might have borne him in their arms, but in the form of a chariot and horses, that he may ride in state, may ride in triumph, like a prince, like a conqueror. See the readiness of the angels to do the will of God, even in the meanest services for the heirs of salvation! Thus he who had burned with holy zeal for God and his honour, was now conveyed in fire into his immediate presence. John Wesley

Exodus 23:20-21 “See, I a sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and bring you to the place that I have prepared for you. Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my name is in him.”
GOD CAN SEND ANGELS INTO YOUR LIFE THAT YOU DONT ACCESS BECAUSE YOUR ATTENTION IS SOMEWHERE ELSE
There are over 286 references to angels in the Bible and many of them refer to their interaction with man..
Vs 22 If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.23 My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Ammorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites and I will wipe them all out.
28-30..little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land. Persistent Patience must take precedence
YOUR WAITING ON GOD TO SHOW UP and HE IS WAITING ON YOU TO GROW UP
Vs 31. “I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the desert to the Euphrates River. I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out before you.”
God is giving his people the resources in the heavenly realm they need to handle the responsibilities they are about to encounter. He always has the resource ready before he gives the assignment.
THE GREATER THE ASSIGNMENT THE GREATER THE ASSISTANCE.
It is very difficult for God to dispatch his assistants if you have not accepted the assignment. It is in the acceptance of your assignment that you receive assistance for advancement.
Be on guard that when you accept his angelic assistants to help you with your assignment that you may have an assassination attempt on your life. Because the enemy is here for one reason and that is to prevent you from advancing.
Make no mistake about it! Those who have never advanced have never achieved anything.
- I will guard you and protect you along the way
Psalm 103:20-21 “Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word. Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.”
I want you to understand who and what you have at your disposal. Prayer is the key that’s unlocks the security guards of heaven!!
Key 53 “ Do you not suppose that I cannot pray to my Father, and He will immediately provide me with more than 12 legions of angels?
- What is a legion?
- How many angels are in 12 legions?
- What would be the combined strength of this number of angels?
Definition of “angel” messenger, representative, “dispatch as a deputy”
This is very important to know the answers because the answers reveal the full force that was available to Jesus had He requested supernatural help in the Garden of Gethsemane. There was no power on earth that could take Jesus anywhere against His will!!
The only way he could be taken was if He willfully, allowed and permitted himself to be taken.
That is why he later told Pilate “John 19:10-11 “Pilate said to him, Will you not speak (even) to me? Do you know I have the power (authority) to release you and I have the power to crucify you?
Jesus said, You would not have any power or authority whatsoever against (over) me if it were not given to you from above.”
Legion is a Roman military term that equals 6,000 Roman soldiers. That means anytime you read in the bible the word (Legion) it is safe to assume the number is at least 6,000.
6,000 angels in a legion x 12 = 72,000 angels
Mark 5:9 the bible tells us that the demon possessed man of the Gaderenes had a legion of demons. That means he had a least 6,000 demons living inside of him!
Angels Minister with Strength!
What is the strength?
Isaiah 37:36 records a single angel slaying 185,000 men in one night.
So if one angel could do that….what would the combined strength of a legion of angels be? 185,000 x 6000
The combined strength would be enough to destroy 1,110,000,000 men
(1 billion, one hundred and ten million)
185,000 x 12 legions (6,000) = 13,320,000.000 thirteen billion, three hundred and twenty million which is more that twice the people living on the earth!!
Is it safe to assume that Jesus didn’t need Peters sword that night?
The combined strength of the angels available would have done more that rescue Jesus but wipe out the entire humans race!!
Peters actions although honorable were an example of how the flesh tries in vain to solve its own problems but can’t! The next time you’re tempted to pick up your sword and start swinging, how about praying and calling supernatural power to swing into action. Supernatural intervention is far more effective than a metal sword!
Jesus was provided with protection. Because he had a supernatural revelation of what was already prepared for his success.
- I will bring you to the place: I will guard you along the way and I will bring you to the place. If “Guard you along the way” is Gods promise to protect, then “bringing you to the place” is Gods promise to position you.
“Often God positions you according to a higher priority than your preference …and is called his purpose” Steven Furtick
God protected, promised and positioned Moses to bring him to the place YET an entire generation never saw the promise land.
- Not only will got protect you, position you but he will prepare you to take possession of this place.
If all I got is 3 people named protection-position-preparation we can go in with Gods promise and take possession of the province.
They never took possession because the spies that were sent out were afraid of the giants in the land.
Here is the Revelation; sometimes your running from something that God has already defeated.!

One thing God will not do! He will protect, position and prepare but he will not possess it for you. You must partner with him.
He will go before you but not for you
Numbers 33:53 “Take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess.”
Deut 1:8 “New Living Translation Look, I am giving all this land to you! Go in and occupy it, for it is the land the LORD swore to give to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to all their descendants.’”
Nehemiah 9:25 “They captured fortified cities and a fertile land They took possession of houses full of every good thing, Hewn cisterns, vineyards, olive groves, Fruit trees in abundance So they ate, were filled and grew fat, And reveled in Your great goodness.
Jeremiah 37:12 that Jeremiah went out from Jerusalem to go to the land of Benjamin in order to take possession of some property there among the people.
He gave them also the lands of the nations, That they might take possession of the fruit of the peoples’ labor,
Who said, “Let us possess for ourselves The pastures of God.”
GOD HAS A MESSAGE, HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR INBOX?
CLOSING.
1 Corinthians 2:9,10 “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yea the deep things of God.”
Once your eyes, your ears and your heart catch a revelation of what God has prepared for you, you are literally unstoppable in all your pursuits and endeavors.
The word “revealed” is the word apokalupto, which means to unveil, reveal or to uncover.
When you allow the Holy Spirit to unveil the hidden truths and mysteries that has blocked your perception of Gods protection, plans and purposes, the eyes of your spirit will suddenly see and perceive the truths or facts that were previously covered as you lock arms and take possession of the land that God has prepared you for.
In regards to the angelic , you will see that they are more than harp players!
